Brian A.Voss has spent over 33 years helping North shore families through different phases of their financial lives across many market cycles. Brian A. Voss, attained the AIF® credential in 2016. Attainment of the AIF credential demonstrates understanding of the Prudent Practices and methodology. His value is in helping people make deliberate decisions about what may be the best phase of their lives. His passion is mentoring and guiding clients to their vision of a successful future. His Clifton Strengths Assessment rates his top two strengths as: Learner – having a great desire to learn and continuously improve; the process of learning is even more exciting than the outcome; and Focus – naturally able to choose a direction, follow through and make course corrections to stay on track; he can prioritize then act.
Brian grew up in Westchester County, New York, and moved to Chicago land in the 1970s. As a teenager, he spent a year studying in Australia, being inspired to realize his first financial and entrepreneurial inklings. While attending college, he traveled 9,000 miles around North America, gaining an understanding of the struggles and dreams of people in many walks of life.
Brian is the father of five and resides in Winnetka with his lovely wife. He has participated in Rotary since the early 60’s and is involved with several community organizations in Winnetka. He is active in his church, teaching money management classes and professional study groups. He volunteers with Gift of Adoption, helping to raise money to help families seeking to adopt. Brian’s family includes two adopted children. He participates in a wide variety of volunteer activities. He enjoys scuba diving, sailing, backpacking and paddle tennis.
